The E-Type’s Back!
Well, 10 E-Types, anyway. Called the Jaguar Classic E-Type Reborn initiative, prospective buyers will be able to purchase a restored classic Jaguar E-Type from the factory.
You may remember that the historical arm of Jaguar built several examples of the E-Type Lightweights priced at £1m each, but they were technically brand new models and not road legal. These ‘Reborn’ cars, however, are sourced by the Jaguar and (allegedly) restored in-house.
If you fancy treating yourself – and I certainly think you should! – then you’ll have to cough up a minimum of £285,000 “dependent on specification”, and from personal experience I’d certainly recommend paying extra for the improved cooling and brakes.
